Walmart the Fashion Hot Spot (pt. 1)




Russell Simmons, Miley Cyrus & Max Azria, and now Keke Palmer. All of the mentioned names have a visionary outlook on what consumers would be interested in wearing. They all are celebrittes in their own right and they each are responsible for clothing lines being brought to the public at reasonable prices.

Russell Simmons known for his Phat Fashions and Argyleculture clothing lines has given the fashion world something else to get excited about. Mr. Simmons got the idea of of starting his affordable line "American Classics" while he was giving a speech at an University. A student asked, "why he was selling jeans for $90 and if they can not afford that does that not make them cool?" American Classics is not to be considered an urban line, Simmons wants the clothes to speak for themselves and have no limitations in who should and can wear his clothes. American Classics by Russell Simmons is exclusively sold in Walmart stores and is for all of those people who want to be fashion forward without the high cost" Russell Simmons is bringing a fresh style to the everyday male all under $20.

Miley Cyrus made famous for her rock star alter ego, has teamed up with famed designer Max Azria to bring an affordable clothing to Walmart stores. The fashion line Miley Cyrus & Max Azria for Walmart sells all of their items all for under $20. Miley got her inspiration for the teen targeted line from the edgy UK style she sees when in Europe. With this inspiration Miley decided to bring the UK style back to the states with the help of the designer behind BCBG. Miley & Max have a line that will give girls the edgy look they always wanted.

Lastly, Keke Palmer the star of the teen show True Jackson, VP will be launching a line for Walmart. The designs will be based off of Palmer's alter ego True. The line will be called Mad Style by True Jackson. The line will consist of all of the necessary items a teen fashionista will need for under $14. With the help of designer Jane Siskin who collaborated with Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen on their Elizabeth & James clothing line Mad Style by True Jackson will be making a lot of girls fashionable this season.

American Classics by Russell Simmons, Miley Cyrus & Max Azria for Walmart, and Mad Style by True Jackson are all available in stores now!
