Boo at the Zoo in Christian Dior

Yesterday, I went with my family to Zoo for its annual Halloween extravaganza. It was fun, but what was more fun was my wardrobe for the day. I didn't wear a costume or go as a character, instead I wore what you see in the video.

I kept it simple with a red hat, readers, black skinny jeans and combat boots.

The main attraction is my Trench Coat! It is full length and Christian Dior, yet I only paid $35 at my local Thrift Store. What a deal.

I loved the look and it kept me warm. What do you think of my zoo look?

CMH Fashion Week - Wardrobe

I already gave a look at my shoes, now here is the rest of the outfit. My pants, belt, bow-tie , and blazer are from H&M (I love a European fit). My shirt is Marc Anthony for Kohl's.

CMH Fashion Week - Shoes

Last night was The Finale Runway Show at CMH Fashion Week. I, being the press coordinator, worked the press. It was a fun and amazing experience and all of the designers and local models did a great job with their collections and walking.

I will have a full picture of my Finale Runway show look in another post, but here is a little shoe cam courtesy of The Women's Book. My shoes are from Aldo and socks are Gap.

Men's Denim Vest

It finally happened... I found a denim jacket at the Thrift Store and I cut the sleeves off.

What do you think of the finished product?

Brooklyn: Here I Come

It's no secret that in a year I want to move to Brooklyn and pursue a career as a Fashion Stylist.

I love New York city because of the individual fashion freedom. Where I live now would be a little to fashion forward to dress like a New Yorker all the time, but every so often I bring it out and I love it.

My goal now is to begin transitioning my wardrobe to be that of how I want to dress 24/7 when I live in Brooklyn within the following year.

Here is a piece of what I mean:

Fashion Spotlight Video: Red TOPMAN Denim

I ordered a pair of red jeans from TOPMAN last month and they made their debut over the weekend. I paired them with a blue shirt from the thrift store and my gray shoes. To accessorize I wore my watch and earrings.

There are many ways to pull off red pants and I plan to show you all how in upcoming post.

Monday Muse: Guy + Elizabeth Olsen

Guy: What made me select this picture were the jeans. Denim jeans with distressing and holes always catch my eye and the dramatic hole on his right leg made me want a pair just like that. Besides the jeans the v-neck cotton 3/4 cut sleeve shirt was a perfect way to balance the look. The fit on both are done perfectly and the shirt was able to show off his body art in a fashionable way as well.

He is a Monday Muse. Do you agree?

Monday Muse: Guy + Kourtney Kardashian

Guy: This weeks Monday Muse is very prep inspired. It doesn't cross the line instead it is done tastefully. Loafers and classic jeans rolled. Suspenders over a cow-neck sweater is such an amazing style choice. Elements from this look can be incorporated into your wardrobe very easily.

Monday Muse: Guy & Kelly Rowland

Guy: When I go to the thrift store I usually look for shirts like he is wearing in this photo. It's vintage inspired and not something I can easily find at a store located in the mall. I actually recently bought a shirt like this from the thrift store. I haven't wore it yet, but I will wear it now that I found this picture.

Monday Muse: Guy and Nicole Richie

Guy: What attracted me to this look was his sweater. I am obsessed with a good sweater and this one is great. I like how he took a vintage inspired sweater and paired it with a pair of jeans and sneakers. He then accessorized with earring and a baseball cap. His bracelet almost goes unnoticed which is a great addition to his look. He is a Monday Muse.

Monday Muse: Me & Giuliana Rancic

Guy: David R Jolly

I'm obsessed with this look. The pants, shirt and necklace are all from TOPMAN. My red TOMS, watch, yellow belt, and readers act as great accessories. The cardigan is vintage and was worn to keep me warm for a cool night. The jeans are my favorite part. They are European skinny jeans and I love them. They are skinny in the leg and opens in the crotch, instead of being skinny through the whole pant. And of course I had to strike a pose. I think this look is a Monday Muse!

Fashion Flash: Maxwell

I'm a big fan of singer Maxwell and I've noticed that he is always well dressed. He usually wears a suit, but I was able to find a picture of him looking a bit more casual. He is a well dressed star that deserves a Fashion Flash Moment!

What do you think of his style?

Monday Muse: Guy & Christina Milian

Guy: It is time again to start wearing sweaters and this is the perfect way to celebrate the launch of Fall wear! His entire outfit is amazing. The sunglasses, grey pants and brown belt compliment his bold, fitted sweater so well. I love the prints that are simple but bold. He is a Monday Muse!
