Kid Cudi: The Musical Style Star

Once again GQ has gave us a a fashion spread worthy of a full post. Last time my post featured Music Producer Swizz Beats and this time our leading music star is Kid Cudi. Cudi is featured in the magazines January 2011 Spring Style Preview spread.

Every time I see Cudi in a magazine his sense of style is amazing. Cudi is already a fashion trendsetter in my eyes and with ever magazine feature he does, he only solidifies his place. My favorite look is the all gray ensemble and blue background. Not only is his pose in the picture clever, but having the camera adds flavor. I am inspired to try this look out for myself. For New Years Eve I styled my sister in this outfit. Here is the breakdown:

Jacket: Wet Seal

Shirt: H&M

Pants: Forever 21

Shoes: Her Own

Accessories: Forever 21 (earrings her own.)

I always have fun when people entrust me to style their look. I do not take this job lightly. I have fun, but am serious about making my client look great. This is hopefully going to be the beginning of "I Style." Through these post I plan to bring you looks that I have styled for other people as I begin to build a fashion stylist portfolio, because I'm going to turn this into a career.

My Style

I recently posted about my Thrift store finds and this sweater was one of the treasures I found that day. This had to be my favorite out of the bunch and I just had to wear it first. This is the finished product, what do you guys think of my new sweater?
